And so it begins...my love/hate relationship with running. I need to train for a 15k trail run in October (the same one I did last year), but I haven't been seriously running for a while. I haven't been able to consistently run since I've been getting frequent work done on my tattoo. But, with only one more session left, and a good two weeks (at least) before I go back and have to restart the tattoo healing process, I've decided to jump back into it. I want to do better than last year's 15k run, but I feel like I'm way behind on training. I suppose we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Dani! I used to hate running until I started climbing :) I'm not prepping for a race, but I'm running three days a week- one is a specific time (say, 30minutes), the second day I run intervals, and the third day I do a set distance (a 5k for example). I'm hoping it helps me improve my speed without letting my endurance suffer
ReplyDeleteI like that, Holly. I definitely need to do more intervals and speed work. Brandon's always trying to get me to run sprints---brings back horrible high school memories...lol
