I filled another sketchbook! Now I have five completed books, and seeing them stacked is a very satisfying sight. I'm finding that watercolor is my go-to medium when I feel pressed for time. I sat down to do a watercolor pattern on Monday that turned into a loose and abstract landscape, which is fine by me. We visited the local Botanical Garden which inspired the lily pads and bathing bird. I think my favorite is the pretzel pattern, painted at a park while enjoying a snack of chocolate covered pretzels.
